Prepare 6 pancakes using the traditional pancake recipe.
Melt the butter in a pan, add sugar and stir well. Add the orange juice, brandy and cointreau then stir over low heat until the sugar is dissolved. Bring sauce to boil for 5 minutes then remove the pan from the heat.
Hull the strawberries, cut in half and reserve 8 strawberry halves for decoration. Add strawberries to pan and stir until coated with liquid. Using a slotted spoon, divide the strawberries between the pancakes.
Place the pancakes on serving plate, spoon over a little of the sauce and top each pancake with whipped cream and decorate with the reserved strawberries.
